Senior SEiT - Data Responsibilities
- Define and implement robust test strategies for data and analytics solutions
- Translate business and product requirements into comprehensive automated tests
- Design, build and maintain automated test scripts and test datasets
- Ensure test coverage for data pipelines, products, reports, and metrics
- Perform functional and non-functional testing, including data quality, performance, and compliance
- Implement test automation across Databricks on Azure or AWS
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, embedding automated testing throughout the release cycle
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality delivery
- Generate transparent test metrics and automated reporting
Senior SEiT - Data Requirements
- Proven experience defining and delivering data test strategies
- Strong understanding of data principles
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools in Databricks, Spark, and SQL
- Track record of building and maintaining test environments and synthetic datasets
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Terraform, and DevOps tooling
- Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate into automated test coverage
- Experience working in agile multidisciplinary teams using Scrum or Kanban
- Comfortable collaborating across engineering and product functions
- Background in SaaS product environments / heavily regulated industries would be highly beneficial
- Exposure to testing for streaming data or AI/ML pipelines would be useful too
