About the Company
We are looking for a Senior Autonomy Engineer to develop and deploy perception, planning, and control systems across UAV platforms, maritime USVs, and ground robots. You will take algorithms from research into production, owning the full stack from sensor integration through to mission execution.
About the Role
Design perception and state estimation pipelines — fusing camera, LiDAR, radar, and IMU for reliable autonomy in GPS-degraded environments. Develop motion planning and trajectory optimization for UAV platforms (multirotor, fixed-wing, hybrid) and adapt these capabilities to USV and ground robot contexts. Validate autonomy software through SIL/HIL testing and structured field campaigns; collaborate with hardware and firmware teams on end-to-end integration.
Responsibilities
- Design perception and state estimation pipelines — fusing camera, LiDAR, radar, and IMU for reliable autonomy in GPS-degraded environments.
- Develop motion planning and trajectory optimization for UAV platforms (multirotor, fixed-wing, hybrid) and adapt these capabilities to USV and ground robot contexts.
- Validate autonomy software through SIL/HIL testing and structured field campaigns; collaborate with hardware and firmware teams on end-to-end integration.
Qualifications
- Degree in Robotics, Aerospace, CS, EE, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Required Skills
- 5–8 years in robotics or autonomous systems, with clear UAV experience in your portfolio.
- Strong C++ and Python; ROS/ROS2 essential.
- PX4, ArduPilot, or equivalent autopilot experience is a plus.
- Solid probabilistic robotics foundations — Kalman filtering, SLAM, computer vision — and comfort deploying to embedded real-time systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with UAV platforms (multirotor, fixed-wing, hybrid).
- Familiarity with maritime USVs and ground robots.
