B2C Product Marketing Manager

Freeman+Leonard is seeking a Product Marketing Manager for a cryptocurrency based company.
This is a US based REMOTE position.
About the Role
We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager to own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy for a growing suite of financial products. This role blends strategic storytelling, audience research, GTM execution, and cross-functional leadership. You’ll define how products are packaged and delivered to market—grounded in user insights, competitive differentiation, and strong internal alignment.
You’ll partner with Product, Growth, Design, and Business Development teams to launch new products, drive adoption of existing ones, and ensure that the company’s value proposition is clear, compelling, and trusted.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature enhancements
- Define and validate product positioning and messaging across segments, products, and use cases
- Conduct customer interviews, surveys, and research to uncover user needs, objections, and motivations
- Analyze market and competitor trends to inform differentiation, pricing, and product strategy
- Collaborate with Growth Marketing to embed messaging into onboarding, lifecycle, and paid campaigns
- Create sales and business development enablement materials (pitch decks, battlecards, talk tracks, FAQs)
- Partner with Product and Design on naming, onboarding UX, and product narratives
- Ensure consistent messaging across brand, marketing, and customer support channels
- Develop landing pages and content briefs; partner with Design and Web contractors to test messaging
- Measure and report on launch performance; optimize based on usage, conversion, and retention metrics
- Maintain a centralized product marketing playbook (segmentation docs, positioning frameworks, launch briefs)
Who You Are
- 7–10 years of product marketing experience, ideally in fintech, crypto, or consumer financial products
- Proven expertise in go-to-market strategy, positioning, messaging, and sales enablement
- Skilled at turning customer insights, behavioral data, and research into actionable strategies
- Experienced in competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and product differentiation
- Excellent communicator who can distill complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Strong background in customer research (interviews, surveys, segmentation)
- Experienced in managing cross-functional launches across Product, Design, Growth, and BD
- Data-driven mindset; comfortable with analytics, A/B testing, and optimization frameworks
- Familiar with tools such as Iterable, PostHog, Webflow, or able to ramp quickly
- Based in the U.S. and comfortable operating autonomously in a remote-first environment
Even Better If…
- MBA or advanced degree in marketing, business, or strategy
- Experience launching products in regulated industries (banking, payments, insurance)
- Exposure to the Bitcoin/crypto ecosystem or financial infrastructure
- Familiarity with sales enablement tools and frameworks; experience building internal GTM playbooks
- Strong creative sensibility and ability to craft or brief impactful product storytelling
- Hands-on experience with landing page development, messaging tests, and design collaboration
- Background in early-stage environments—building PMM systems from scratch with lean resources
- Passion for making financial tools simple, rewarding, and accessible
