Software Engineer in Test

Project Context: Modernizing member preference synchronization from legacy systems to a unified third-party vendor ecosystem using a C#/.NET and Angular stack.

Role Objective

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to lead the transition from manual verification to a fully automated CI/CD integrated testing suite. You will be responsible for validating the integrity of member data as it flows through our new backend architecture and ensuring a seamless user experience on our Angular-based management interface.

Key Responsibilities

• Framework Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain a scalable automation framework from scratch using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
• End-to-End Data Validation: Develop automated workflows to ensure member preferences captured in multiple source systems are accurately transformed and propagated to the third-party vendor tool.
• Backend & API Testing: Beyond UI, perform rigorous testing of the C# backend services (Web API/Microservices) to ensure data logic aligns with the new architectural blueprints.
• Unit Testing Governance: Collaborate with the development team to enhance the Unit Testing strategy, ensuring high code coverage and early bug detection.
• Legacy-to-Modern Migration: Analyze existing manual processes and translate them into efficient automated regression suites that support the "rebuild" phase of the project.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into the build pipeline (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) to enable continuous feedback loops.

Technical Requirements

Languages: Expert proficiency in C#.

UI Automation: Advanced experience with Selenium WebDriver (Page Object Model/Screenplay patterns).

Front-end Exposure : Experience testing Angular applications (handling async calls, Protractor/Cypress/Playwright experience is a plus).

Testing Frameworks: Deep knowledge of NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest.

Data & Integration: Proficiency in SQL for data verification and experience testing RESTful APIs (Postman/RestSharp).

Architecture: Ability to interpret architectural diagrams and design tests that validate system-to-system interactions.
