Data Scientist (good English, 3+ YoE)

Position: Data Scientist

Location: HCM

Job description:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify data-driven solutions

• Work closely with Data Engineers to collect, prepare and process data for machine learning models

• Design, develop, evaluate and deploy machine learning and NLP models for production environments

• Train, tune, monitor and optimize ML models to ensure performance and reliability

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights

• Develop data pipelines and support MLOps practices for model deployment and monitoring

• Research and evaluate new AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and transformer-based models

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality AI solutions

• Document models, experiments and technical best practices

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related quantitative field (Master’s degree is a plus)

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer

• Strong experience in Machine Learning model development, evaluation, tuning and monitoring

• Hands-on experience in NLP development and text analytics

• Proficiency in Python and SQL

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and transformer-based architectures is a strong advantage

• Experience developing and tuning custom Named Entity Recognition (NER) models is a plus

• Familiarity with MLOps practices and platforms such as Azure ML or Azure AI Language Studio is preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Presidio PII or similar data privacy frameworks is an advantage

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams is preferred

• Good English communication skills
