As we scale, marketing is becoming a core growth lever. We’re now hiring our first dedicated Marketing Manager to take ownership of this function and help us significantly level up our output, consistency, and impact.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and commercially minded Marketing Manager to drive awareness, demand, and growth for FounderCatalyst.
This is a broad, execution-focused role where you’ll own and deliver marketing initiatives across channels, including content, email, social, partnerships, and performance marketing.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how FounderCatalyst is positioned to founders and the wider startup ecosystem, while continuously analysing and optimising performance to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Thought Leadership
- Own and scale our content strategy across LinkedIn, email, and web
- Manage and improve our current cadence (newsletter + social content)
- Work closely with founders to turn expertise into high-quality content (blogs, insights, reports)
- Develop data-driven insights content (e.g. fundraising trends, valuation data, investor behaviour)
- Elevate Founder Catalyst as a trusted voice in startup fundraising
Demand Generation & Funnel Growth
- Drive inbound leads through content, paid channels, and campaigns
- Optimise performance of existing channels (LinkedIn, email, Google Ads)
- Build and launch campaigns targeting early-stage founders
- Continuously improve conversion across the funnel
CRM & Lead Nurture
- Take ownership of our custom-built CRM
- Design and implement email nurture sequences
- Improve segmentation and targeting of leads
- Ensure leads from events, ads, and downloads are effectively converted
Campaigns & Growth Experiments
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (LinkedIn, email, webinars, etc.)
- Collaborate on outbound efforts alongside the sales team
- Build and test lead magnets (guides, reports, resources)
- Analyse performance and iterate quickly
Webinars & Events
- Scale what’s already working (high-performing webinars with 100+ attendees)
- Support and optimise webinar funnel (promotion → attendance → conversion)
- Explore selective event opportunities (e.g. speaking slots, high-ROI sponsorships)
- Develop partnerships with startup communities, accelerators, and ecosystem players
What We’re Looking For
- 3–6+ years in a B2B marketing role
- Experience in startup, fintech, legal, accounting, or SME-focused businesses
- Strong execution ability — you’re comfortable doing the work, not just planning it
- Excellent copywriting and content instincts
- Strong understanding of funnels, lead generation, and conversion
- Experience with CRM systems and email marketing
- Data-driven mindset — comfortable analysing performance and iterating
- Understanding of startup audiences and how to engage founders
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
