Do you have a passion for running and/or other athletics? Foundation Wellness, a leading manufacturer and distributor of insoles in the running and sporting goods industry, is seeking a Sports Marketing Manager to lead B2B marketing messaging and initiatives for our Currex and PowerStep brands.
Foundation Wellness is a fast-growing company with the #1 insole brand in running stores (Currex) and the #1 insole brand in Podiatry (PowerStep). This role will report to the Chief Growth Officer and will work closely with the Running Specialty including the Sports National Sales Manager and regional sales team members to execute strategic initiatives, support key accounts, and optimize internal/external resources. This role provides a unique opportunity to help lead the direction of the run and sports strategy and marketing, and lead high-impact projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead marketing messages/initiatives/value propositions for the Currex and PowerStep brands in B2B
- Lead initiatives for key accounts, independent running retailers, and strategic partners (e.g., Fleet Feet and Major League Pickleball)
- Represent Currex and PowerStep brands at regional and national events
- Lead and manage trade advertising schedules and asset submissions for industry publications (to our internal creative team)
- Set the strategy and plans for national trade shows, conferences, and races/marathons - working with our internal trade show execution team
- Lead the development and execution of special programs with customers and product launches
- Coordinate content for customer training platforms
- Assist in creating and distributing merchandising displays, POP materials, and promotional items working with the sales teams
- Lay out email marketing campaigns and promotions
- Support athlete sponsorships, creator partnerships, and brand campaign execution
- Build key relationships with opinion leaders in the channel (Store owners or resources)
- Coordination of content from events to feed Social marketing team
Technical Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sports marketing, experience in specialty running retail a bonus
- Experience with in-store displays, in-store merchandising/marketing, B2B email marketing, content creation, and digital marketing tools
- Familiarity with trade shows, event planning and trade show logistics
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related field

This is a remote role, but will be expected to support a team primarily on EST.
