The company is committed to helping organizations access and collaborate with top-tier talent. ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a full-service design, production, and implementation studio based in Downtown

NYC. They work with premium and luxury clients across fashion, beauty, spirits, hospitality, and

sports — delivering everything from specialty packaging and gifting experiences to experiential

marketing and retail environments.

We’re looking for a skilled Graphic Designer who thrives in a production-first environment. Your

primary focus will be print and packaging, with additional scope across branding, merchandise,

event signage, and retail graphics. You’ll work closely with our production and logistics team, so

understanding how design translates to physical fabrication is essential.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

– Print & packaging — Design and produce print-ready files for packaging, labels, boxes,

custom crates, and inserts. Manage dielines, bleeds, and pre-press requirements for

commercial and specialty printers.

– Gifting & unboxing experiences — Design collector sets, custom gifting packaging, and

tactile/craft-forward presentations for brand activations and product launches.

– Merchandise design — Adapt brand assets for apparel, promotional products, and

branded merchandise with an understanding of screen printing, embroidery, and specialty

finish constraints.

– Branding support — Maintain and extend brand identity systems — logos, color palettes,

typography — ensuring visual consistency across all physical and digital touchpoints.

– Experiential & event signage — Design large-format graphics for retail environments,

pop-up activations, trade shows, and event installations.

– Retail environment graphics — Create cohesive in-store and retail display graphics that

translate brand identity to physical space.

– Client presentation mockups — Produce photorealistic packaging and product mockups

for client reviews and approvals.

– Asset management — Organize and maintain design files, brand guidelines, and

templates in a shared system for team-wide access.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

– 3+ years of graphic design experience with a portfolio demonstrating print and/or

packaging work

– Expert-level Adobe Illustrator and InDesign; Photoshop proficiency

– Strong knowledge of how to create renderings in AI

– Solid understanding of print production — CMYK, spot colors, dielines, bleed setup, and

file prep for commercial printers

– Familiarity with specialty print finishes: foiling, embossing, spot UV, soft-touch lamination

– Experience applying brand guidelines across diverse formats and materials in fashion,

beauty, spirits, or hospitality industries

– Ability to create photorealistic mockups for client presentations (Smartmockups, Adobe

Dimension, or similar)

– Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines

– Comfortable working remotely with a North American client team — reliable async

communication and clear file handoffs are a must

NICE TO HAVE

– Experience with experiential or event signage design at scale

– Familiarity with structural packaging or custom dieline development for specialty forms

– Background in gifting or unboxing experience design for brand activations

– Retail environment or visual merchandising design experience

– Motion or video editing skills for social/digital content

Hours: 9am-5pm EST

Compensation: $8USD/hour

Type: Contractor
