The Opportunity

We are looking for a strategic storyteller and content leader to elevate our brand and establish our company as a thought leader in the cybersecurity industry. The Content Strategist will be responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive content plan that drives brand awareness, educates prospects, and accelerates lead generation. This role will own the content roadmap, ensuring all content is high-quality, relevant, and aligned with our business goals.

This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Strategy: Define and own the content roadmap, developing a strategy that aligns with SEO and business objectives.
• Content Creation: Oversee the creation of high-value, long-form content, including whitepapers, e-books, case studies, webinars, and short form videos, and thought leadership articles.
• Content Management: Manage the content calendar and editorial workflow, ensuring brand consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
• SEO/Performance: Collaborate with the Demand Generation Manager and Social Media Manager to optimize content for discoverability and performance across search engines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Product Marketing Manager and subject matter experts to translate technical topics into compelling, digestible content.
• Event Content: Create or guide the creation of content for events, including presentations, booth materials, and promotional copy.
• Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics to measure content performance and refine strategies based on data.

Basic Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of experience in content marketing or content strategy, with a strong preference for candidates with cybersecurity or B2B experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proven experience developing and executing successful content strategies.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to optimize content for organic search.
• Experience managing an editorial calendar and content workflow.
• Ability to work collaboratively with both technical subject matter experts and marketing teammates.
• Examples of your content journey will be required and requested. Varying formats are welcome.

Posted Salary Range

$95,000 - $120,000 annual salary
