Senior Python Engineer (Django)

Forte Group is looking for a Senior Python Engineer (Django) to join our team.

Our client is building the next generation of enterprise SaaS and data-driven platforms to support complex commercial and industrial workflows. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust, secure, and high-performance backend services and APIs that form the foundation of the SaaS platform. This role requires deep experience in backend engineering, data modeling, and system architecture, with hands-on expertise building services using Python and Django. You will take ownership of backend solutions that deliver measurable business value at scale.

What You Might Do in Your First Year

• Contribute meaningfully to the design and evolution of a core SaaS and data platform built on Django-based services
• Become a subject matter expert in the platform’s backend APIs, including configuration, development, and integration patterns
• Work closely with a distributed engineering team to review code, apply design patterns, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Influence and execute on roadmap initiatives both independently and collaboratively, while improving team velocity and software quality

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing and building backend systems for commercial or enterprise software products
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django, including RESTful API development
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party services, APIs, and libraries with strict security and reliability requirements
• Proficiency in SQL and relational data modeling
• Experience working effectively in distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Proven ability to execute complex projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with version control systems such as Git (Bitbucket or similar)
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
