Project Description

We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and ongoing support of a key product within our portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers from different teams while following established industry standards. Experience in building solutions suited for the cloud will be valuable for delivering effective results.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, test, and support essential backend systems with a primary focus on .NET technologies.
Offer technical support and mentorship to fellow developers.
Lead architectural choices and take ownership of complex infrastructure components.
Work collaboratively with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to gather requirements and create effective technical solutions.
Build and maintain API-driven integrations, ensuring reliability, compliance, and adherence to quality standards.
Participate in peer code reviews, give constructive suggestions, and help enhance codebase quality.
Diagnose and resolve complex software issues through log evaluation, performance profiling, and cooperative troubleshooting.
Apply core architectural concepts to build scalable systems that can efficiently handle increasing user demand.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, building, and deployment processes.
Keep informed on the latest development tools, frameworks, and trends to foster innovation within the engineering team.
Take initiative in decision-making and demonstrate sound judgment.
Adapt to shifting business priorities and remain flexible in your approach.

Qualifications and Skills

Over 8 years of hands-on experience in backend software development.
Strong command of C# with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
Solid experience designing and implementing REST APIs, distributed microservices, and event-based architectures.
Comfortable working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP; experienced with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
Practical experience using relational databases, caching systems, and message brokers.
Good understanding of software testing methodologies and their application in a professional engineering environment.
Familiar with Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of observability concepts (e.g., logging, metrics, tracing) and monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
Awareness of cloud-based security principles including IAM configurations and secrets management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
English proficiency at an upper-intermediate level or higher, both written and spoken.
