Forte Group is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a publicly traded global media and technology project formed in early 2026 as a spin-off from one of the world's largest entertainment conglomerates. The portfolio spans cable television networks, digital media properties, sports technology platforms, and consumer-facing digital products used by millions of people. The company’s digital platforms serve thousands of business operators and tens of millions of consumers across sports, entertainment, and media.

The product you will work on sits within the company’s sports technology division. It includes a revenue optimization platform that ingests booking data, seasonal trends, and customer segments, then uses AI to generate dynamic pricing strategies, targeted marketing campaigns, and promotional recommendations for facility operators. A current priority is building an AI agent that provides a simple, chat-based interface to multiple backend services, database data, and charts. The agent replaces several complex legacy interfaces with a single unified experience, giving operators faster access to the information and actions they need.

The tech stack runs on AWS with .NET 10 backend services. AI capabilities are powered by AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, and AWS foundation models. pg_vector (PostgreSQL extension) handles vector storage and semantic search. A key part of the current roadmap is an AI agent that provides a chat-based interface to multiple services, database data, and charts, replacing several complex legacy interfaces with a single unified experience. The AI layer is the product, not an add-on.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and extend AI-powered features using AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, and AWS foundation models
  • Design and build the conversational AI agent: a chat-based interface that unifies access to multiple services, database data, and visualizations, replacing legacy interfaces.
  • Develop .NET 10 backend services that integrate with AI orchestration layers, handle business logic, and serve APIs
  • Design and maintain vector search and retrieval pipelines using pg_vector for semantic matching across large datasets
  • Train, fine-tune, and evaluate ML models for domain-specific tasks including classification, recommendation, and prediction
  • Implement agentic workflows and multi-step AI pipelines that coordinate across data sources, services, and user interactions
  • Write and maintain automated tests using Playwright and Claude for AI-assisted test generation
  • Contribute to data pipeline design, transformation logic, and infrastructure-as-code on AWS
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of professional software engineering experience with production-deployed code
  • Strong backend development skills in .NET (C#) with experience building APIs and services
  • Working experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, RDS, or similar services)
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Claude, AWS Bedrock, or similar) into applications
  • Familiarity with vector databases or semantic search (pg_vector, Pinecone, or equivalent)
  • Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and data pipeline fundamentals
  • Comfort working in a small team with high ownership and minimal hand-holding

Preferred:

  • Experience training or fine-tuning ML models (classification, NLP, recommendation systems)
  • Familiarity with AWS Bedrock, including model selection, prompt management, and guardrails
  • Experience building conversational AI agents or chat-based interfaces over structured data
  • Exposure to agentic AI patterns (tool use, multi-step orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation)
  • Experience with Playwright or similar test automation frameworks
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK)

Technology Stack:

The team works across the following stack. You do not need experience with every tool, but you should be comfortable learning what you do not already know.

  • AI / LLM AWS Bedrock, Anthropic, Claude, AWS foundation models
  • ML / Training Model fine-tuning, evaluation pipelines, domain-specific classifiers
  • Vector Search pg_vector (PostgreSQL extension)
  • Agent / UX Conversational AI agent, chat-based interface, data visualization
  • Backend .NET 10 (C#), REST APIs
  • Data PostgreSQL, data pipelines, transformation logic
  • Testing Playwright, AI-assisted test generation (Claude)
  • Infrastructure AWS

How We Work:

  • Small team, high ownership. You ship features, not tickets
  • AI is a tool in the workflow, not a topic for slide decks. The team uses AI-assisted development daily
  • Code reviews are real conversations, not rubber stamps
  • Sprint cycles are short. Feedback from production informs the next iteration
  • Quality matters. Automated testing, CI/CD, and observability are expected, not aspirational
