Senior Software Engineer (Network Infrastructure) – 100% Remote

The Opportunity

We are expanding a core engineering team responsible for building and scaling the foundation of a globally used cybersecurity product — the system that powers secure and efficient network connectivity for distributed environments.

As one of the first few engineers on this team, you’ll take ownership of complex technical challenges in networking and infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the product, driving its performance, reliability, and scalability.

The What

Core Engineering – Design, build, and optimise low-level network systems in C/C++, with opportunities to contribute in Rust and Go.

Infrastructure Ownership – Develop resilient, high-performance networking protocols that serve as the backbone of a fast-growing platform.

Collaboration – Partner with a fully remote, globally distributed team that values autonomy, deep technical thinking, and collaboration.

The Who

We’re looking for an engineer who brings:

• 6+ years’ experience in network engineering or network protocol development (not IT administration).
• Deep technical expertise in C/C++ (non-negotiable, this will form the majority of your work).
• Experience with Rust or Go is advantageous but not required.
• Proven ability to work on complex network infrastructure and performance systems.
• Demonstrated ownership, energy, and intellectual curiosity to execute quickly and solve intricate technical problems.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
