About This Role:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer III, you will be an established contributor within Forrester’s product technology group. You’ll help deliver innovative digital product experiences by applying creativity in how we approach problems and curiosity in exploring tools and technologies across the Forrester ecosystem. You will actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle — from design and implementation to testing and process improvement. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence and business alignment.

Job Description:

Design And Development

• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable full-stack solutions.
• Extend architectural and implementation design principles to other areas of the codebase.
• Apply knowledge of security and networking layers in application design.
• Own the quality and maintainability of the code you write.

Code Quality And Review

• Fully engage in code reviews for your own code and provide constructive feedback on others’ code.
• Anticipate functional and regression issues within stories and iterations.

Collaboration And Communication

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Present information in a well-organized, knowledgeable, and confident manner.

Process And Team Engagement

• Actively participate in team processes and critically evaluate their effectiveness.
• Engage with others to focus on closing priority tasks and build positive team relationships.

Business Context And Impact

• Understand the business strategy and objectives related to the product.
• Apply knowledge of Forrester’s business and client priorities to influence story work.

Job Requirements:

• BTech/MCA/BE in computer science or related field.
• Experience in software engineering.
• Strong full-stack development experience with:
• Back end: Java with Spring Boot, Python, OpenSearch, Neo4j
• Front end: JavaScript, React.js, React Query
• Cloud: Amazon Web Services, microservices architecture
• Version control: Git
• Product mindset with a focus on outcomes and user value.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
