Are you ready to help shape the future of data at a growing, forward-thinking company? We’re looking for a versatile and innovative Sr. Data Engineer to join our agile data team. In this role, you won’t just be maintaining systems—you’ll be building and scaling a modern data platform from the ground up and driving how our organization turns information into insights.

- Design & Architect: Build and evolve scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery) to power decision-making across the company.
- Bring Data to Life: Create engaging dashboards and visualizations in PowerBI that turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Engineer & Integrate: Develop reliable APIs and Python integrations that connect our data platform with core business applications.
- Be a Full-Stack Data Pro: Work across the data spectrum—from architecture and ETL processes to analytics, visualization, and API development.
- Lead & Mentor: Share your expertise with junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and innovation.
- Partner & Deliver: Collaborate closely with a Product Owner in an agile framework to continuously roll out enhancements and deliver real value.
- Champion the User: Provide proactive support and demonstrate strong customer focus for the tools and solutions you help create.

Requirements
What do I need to know?
_You have to have…
_
- 5+ years in data engineering, with at least 2 years in full-stack data roles.
- Deep knowledge of BigQuery / GCP, advanced SQL, PowerBI, and Python (including API development and integrations).
- Proven experience designing and engaging PowerBI dashboards and visualizations.
- A builder’s mentality—excited to shape a platform in a small, fast-moving team environment.
- A natural mentor who enjoys guiding and growing others.
- Comfortable working in an agile framework with iterative development and rapid delivery.
Bonus Points If You Have...
- Familiarity with Applied System’s Epic application.
- Experience in or exposure to the insurance industry.
