What you’ll do

• Architect & deliver our GenAI platform. Own the technical vision for our SaaS control plane and data‑plane services, taking features from whiteboard to production with speed and precision.
• Invent intelligent automations. Design and build sophisticated AI agents that can plan, reason, and act across diverse APIs, data stores, and event streams.
• Make LLMs sing. Apply expert prompt‑engineering, RAG, fine‑tuning, and memory strategies to unlock novel user experiences—then ship them fast.
• Build for scale and velocity. Write clean, maintainable Python (and the occasional TypeScript) that runs reliably and efficiently inside Kubernetes and serverless environments, enabling rapid iteration.
• Partner, coach, and learn. Work hand‑in‑glove with product, design, and fellow engineers; mentor junior developers; and continuously elevate our engineering bar.
• Shape the roadmap. Your architectural voice and insights will influence everything from microservice boundaries to our next strategic product bets.

What you bring

• Proven Architect & Product Shipper: 2+ years building, and rapidly shipping robust, scalable production software. Python is your home base; Node/TypeScript a plus.
• Hands‑on GenAI Chops: You’ve demonstrably integrated with at least one major LLM provider and have built impactful agentic or RAG‑style systems from concept to production.
• Strong Systems Design Foundation: A deep grasp of microservice architecture, API design principles, cloud databases (SQL & NoSQL), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Operational Excellence: Familiarity with observability best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and designing secure, multi‑tenant SaaS architectures.
• Clear, Concise Communicator: You thrive in an async, distributed team environment and can articulate complex technical ideas effectively.
• Educational Foundation: BS/MS in CS—or equivalent impactful, real-world experience and battle scars.
• Nice‑to‑haves: LangChain/LangGraph, Kafka, gRPC, Webhooks, WebSockets, API Security, experience with integration platforms (iPaaS).
• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on working experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or another major cloud provider (AWS, Azure).
