Job Overview
The Marketing Lead Generation Specialist (B2B SaaS) works closely with the CMO and is responsible for developing and implementing marketing-driven strategies to create a consistent flow of qualified leads from our small marketing team to our sales team. This role focuses on crafting compelling campaigns across various platforms and channels to identify, attract, and qualify potential clients who align with our ideal customer profile.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive marketing-focused lead generation strategies across digital platforms, partner sites, content marketing, events, and partnerships
- Develop targeted multi-channel campaigns to attract and capture qualified leads
- Create and optimize landing pages, lead magnets, and conversion paths to maximize lead acquisition
- Establish measurable goals for lead quantity and quality; regularly report on marketing KPIs and conversion metrics
- Implement and manage lead scoring systems to qualify prospects based on engagement and buying signals
- Oversee email nurture campaigns to move leads through the marketing funnel
- Analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and optimize marketing strategies to improve lead quality and ROI
- Stay current with digital marketing trends and emerging lead generation technologies
- Collaborate with the creative team to develop resources that attract and convert qualified prospects
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of experience in marketing-focused lead generation in the SAAS industry
- Proven track record of developing successful multi-channel lead generation campaigns
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics and customer journey mapping
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot
- Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical abilities to measure and optimize campaigns
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to develop innovative lead generation approaches
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with content marketing specifically for lead generation
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and digital advertising platforms
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and attribution modeling
