Manages the company’s presence and content on social media and review sites, including Facebook, GlassDoor, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Yelp, YouTube, and others, for the purpose of engaging target audiences and growing the company’s network of marketing partners. Ideates, plans, and executes social posts, comments, reactions, follows, and other social features on behalf of the company, consistent with the company’s Brand Identity Guidelines and Content Strategy and in coordination with the Marketing Calendar. Works with the Creative function to develop engaging content for social media, including user-generated content (UGC). Schedules and optimizes social post frequency, timing, hashtags, link placement, and landing pages. Identifies brand mentions and other conversations for appropriate engagement. Connects social service inquiries to the appropriate resource. Manages followers and traffic to minimize bot activity.
Tests and reviews content performance and results to improve future social media activity.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
Social Platforms
- Manage the company’s business profiles on social media and review sites
- Ensure social profiles rank above competitors in organic search results for brand keywords
- Maintain awareness of each social platform’s audience demographics and algorithms
- Periodically review and update which social platforms the company prioritizes
- Stay current with advancements and trends in social media and the state of the art
- Act as the Company’s subject matter expert on all social media matters
Social Content
- Translate business and marketing objectives into social media strategies
- Maintain a Social Media Calendar in synch with the Marketing Calendar
- Ensure all social media content is consistent with company and product brand guidelines
- Ensure compliance of all social content with regulatory requirements and TOS
- Create and schedule social content to optimize reach and engagement
- Lead all company staff in opportunities to extend reach by sharing and reposting content
- Engage with follower posts, comments, and direct messages to strengthen relationships
- Develop and execute a User-Generated Content (UGC) strategy
- Monitor third-party social content pertaining to the company’s brand and industry
- Route customer support issues posted in social media to the appropriate resource
- Periodically analyze competitor activity on social media

Tracking and Analytics
- Integrate all social media outlets with tracking tools and attribution methods
- Measure and review performance analytics for social media content
- Optimize social media to measurably perform across the marketing funnel
- Conduct pilots and controlled tests to confirm new Campaign initiatives

COMPETENCIES:
- Exceptional command of verbal and written English language skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Marketing Manager
- 5+ years of social media marketing experience
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams with a high degree of independence
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Ability to take initiative and work with occasional supervision
- Demonstrates an understanding of different social media tools and methodologies
- Understanding of influential multimedia storytelling techniques (verbal, video, etc.)
- Able to develop and manage multiple narratives simultaneously
- Experience building a community
- Demonstrates attention to detail
- Remote Work Proficiency: Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment with team members located across the U.S
- Willingness to learn, be a self-starter, with a “get-it-done” attitude
- Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and channels simultaneously

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Base Salary: $80-$90K
