Job Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a hands-on Senior SDET specializing in C++ who is passionate about quality engineering. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks, implement consumer-driven contract testing, and integrate cloud and DevOps practices into our CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI test suites for web and mobile applications using C++.
- API Automation: Architect and implement API automation and consumer-driven contract tests (e.g., Pact).
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate test frameworks into Jenkins/GitLab CI, Kubernetes/EKS pipelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with product and development teams to define "shift-left" quality requirements.
- Advocacy: Advocate best practices in test automation, performance, and reliability.
Ideal candidate profile
Must-Have Qualifications
- 6+ years of SDET experience with C++.
- Expertise in consumer-driven API testing (Pact, CDC).
- Strong coding skills in C++.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps.
- Passion for quality engineering and continuous improvement.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with performance/load testing (JMeter, Gatling).
- Background in security, accessibility, or chaos testing.
- Certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies.
