Flexing It has partnered with our client, a leading global FMCG firm who is looking for a Partnership Marketing Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Activation Management & Execution
- Lead, coordinate, and execute brand activations across multiple African markets in alignment with AFCON & WAFCON events.
- Collaborate with local market teams and agencies to deliver creative, consistent, and culturally resonant brand experiences.
- Drive implementation of Gift with Purchase (GWP) programs, in-store sampling, and omnichannel activations.
2. Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the central liaison between marketing, shopper marketing, customer development (CD), supply chain, and local country teams.
- Facilitate daily or weekly calls with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and agile issue resolution.
3. Tracking, Measurement & Reporting
- Own and manage the activation performance dashboard—tracking KPIs such as reach, sales uplift, ROI, etc., by country and initiative.
- Monitor in-store readiness, stock availability, and activation quality in coordination with Business Development Managers (BDMs).
- Provide ongoing recommendations to optimize activations based on real-time performance data.
4. Commercial Excellence
- Ensure stores are campaign-ready: fully stocked, merchandised, and compliant with activation timelines.
- Partner with CD teams to enforce planogram compliance and enhance shelf visibility.
Key Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in brand management, trade marketing, or activation execution within the FMCG sector.
- Strong project management and multitasking abilities with a proven track record in cross-market coordination.
- Experience working in a matrix environment with cross-functional and cross-country stakeholders.
- High proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data tracking/visualization tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- A passion for sports marketing and cultural engagement is highly desirable.
