This role can be based anywhere in Australia or the West Coast of the USA, we have an office in Adelaide with hybrid working options and then remote first in other locations.
Do you love a combination of B2B Product Marketing for Enterprise customers, with a product that is a first of it's kind hardware that uses Space Technology (our own Fleet of Satellites) within a scaling startup environment?
We're looking for a Product Marketing Lead or also open to someone a little more Senior, say Head of Product Marketing as long as you know and are happy with the fact this will be very hands on to start with the scope to grow your team in the next 1-2 years.
Our Product - ExoSphere - leverages space technology, 3D multiphysics and AI to map mineral systems in real-time with near-zero environmental impact. This enables explorers to make faster, data-driven decisions onsite with access to real-time 3D imaging AI-powered insights to increase drilling success rates and reduce time to discovery and environmental footprint.
You will report into and work closely with our CMO to define our GTM strategy, ICP, Product and Messaging strategy and more. You will also partner with the broader marketing team on execution and work very closely with our sales team to ensure we understand our customers and enable our Sales team with the collateral to solve their problems.
With our Product being highly technical and hardware driven, we are looking for Senior Product Marketers with experience in similar Products that have a hardware element or industries (Mining/Geology/GeoSpatial/Deep Tech) with Enterprise B2B experience, B2C or purely SaaS experience isn't quite a match.
About the role
There is a genuine opportunity for this person to grow and scale a team, with an unblocked path to a Head of Product Marketing role in the longer term.
As a key partner to marketing, product, and sales teams, you'll develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies aligned with business objectives. You'll drive data-driven pricing strategies through ROI analysis and financial modelling, while crafting compelling product positioning and messaging that resonates with target customers.
Leading our AI-powered product launches, you'll manage beta programs, develop demonstrations, and create strong value propositions that highlight product benefits. Your role includes equipping sales teams with effective tools, building customer relationships for valuable feedback, and conducting market research to identify opportunities and differentiate from competitors.
You'll track marketing metrics to optimize campaign performance, and serve as a marketing representative in cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with product management, sales, engineering, and design teams to ensure successful product launches and marketing campaigns.
What we are looking for:
The 3 key requirements to match before applying:
1. Senior Product Marketing experience, not a specific number of years but you have been the person leading Product Marketing Strategy
2. Experience with companies / Products in Hardware/Deep Tech that sell to Enterprise B2B customers. B2C or purely SaaS experience isn't quite what we're looking for.
3. People management/leadership skills, ideally you've managed others already even if only very small teams.
You will need to have led product marketing, GTM and pricing strategy, product messaging and execution and demonstrate the impact of your work on revenue in your previous roles.
On top of that you'll have great communication and presentation skills, demonstrate strong data driven decision making and commercial acumen.
