Flat Fee Buyers is a Silicon Valley-based real estate startup revolutionizing the home-buying experience by replacing traditional commission-based fees with a flat-fee model. Our mission is to make homeownership more affordable and accessible for everyone.

We are experiencing 40x year-over-year growth, and you’ll be joining us at an exciting time, right as we scale a rocketship.

We’re looking for a highly skilled, self-driven Website & UX Designer - a true rockstar who can own and elevate our digital and print presence. You’ll play a critical role in shaping our brand experience across every platform we touch.

This role demands an experienced designer who is just as comfortable leading web design projects from scratch as they are producing polished marketing assets at a high level of execution and creativity. You must be able to independently drive projects from concept to final delivery, taking full ownership of quality, consistency, and results.

This is not an entry-level position - we’re looking for someone who has a proven track record of success and thrives in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.

A strong portfolio is required.

[Website Design & Redesign]

• Own the design and implementation of visually stunning, conversion-focused websites, microsites, and landing pages across platforms like Wix, WordPress, Webflow, and Next.js.

• Lead end-to-end web design projects - creating sitemaps, content strategies, wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI/UX designs.

[Internal and External Dashboard Design]

• Analyze user requirements and data structures to design clear, highly functional dashboards that streamline workflows and improve user efficiency.

[Social Media and Digital Ad Creation]

• Produce scroll-stopping social media posts, animated assets, and video ads optimized for search, display, and social campaigns.

• Collaborate with marketing strategists and developers to ensure designs meet campaign objectives and technical specifications.

• Apply a performance-driven approach to creative - running A/B tests, analyzing results, and rapidly iterating for stronger outcomes.

[Print and Physical Media Design]

• Develop sharp, brand-consistent print materials including brochures, flyers, direct mail pieces, door tags, and more.

Required Qualifications

• Education & Experience: BA/BS in Graphic Design, Web Design, Marketing, or a related field OR 4+ years of exceptional hands-on experience in a high-volume design role, preferably within a startup or agency environment.

• Website Design Mastery: Extensive experience designing and optimizing websites across Wix, WordPress, Webflow, and Next.js. Strong understanding of UX/UI, CRO, and responsive design principles.

• Advertising & Social Expertise: Proven ability to create high-impact ads and marketing creatives for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Google, and other digital platforms.

• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Canva. Basic front-end coding knowledge (HTML/CSS) preferred.

• Performance-Driven Mindset: Ability to interpret analytics, user testing, and heat maps to continuously refine designs for impact.

• Communication & Ownership: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to independently manage projects, timelines, and priorities with minimal oversight.

• Entrepreneurial Energy: Highly motivated, ultra-reliable, detail-obsessed, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambitious startup environment.

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Video editing or basic motion graphics experience.

• Experience of using modern AI tools.

• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Hotjar, or other UX research tools.

• Previous experience working with real estate professionals.
