Software Engineer - High Frequency Trading (HFT) + Crypto ($100k-$300k)

• Joining a 10 person stealth crypto HFT.
• Founding team come from tier HFT/Market Maker and have built a successful business trading crypto over the last 3 years
• This role is very important as there is an enormous amount of low hanging fruit to be captured through engineering work.
• This is a very hands on leadership team (Quant Research, Engineering, etc.) so we're looking for someone who can jump in eagerly and doesn't need a lot of hand holding or detailed instructions to diagnose and solve problems.
• For example, don't expect to be given an a-z walkthrough of what exactly you need to look for and how to fix it.
• More likely you'll be given some rough understanding of a problem or opportunity to be fixed or created, and you'll go figure out how to make it work.
• The team is open to hiring both engineers from HFT or engineers who have worked on latency sensitive, complex tech engineering problems like building databases, ad engines, etc.
• A desire to work on trading systems and technology is important.
• Tools wise the team uses C++, C# Python, etc. and is open minded about what languages you know, as long as you can pick up quickly.
• Compensation is flexible depending on seniority and relevancy of skills.
• We are open to PhDs with relevant academic experience and some tech/HFT skills.
