We are seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions that enhance our product capabilities, automate processes, and provide our customers with smarter, faster, and more intuitive financial tools.

You will work closely with product managers and engineers to integrate cutting-edge AI technologies into Finom’s platform – from customer-facing agents and anomaly detection to event classification and document understanding.

What You Will Be Doing

• Model Development: Build, fine-tune, and deploy AI/ML models for various product features (e.g., AI accounting, document parsing, categorization, fraud detection).
• Data Pipeline Ownership: Design and maintain scalable data processing workflows to support AI-driven features.
• Integration with Product: Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers to bring AI features into production.
• Experimentation & Evaluation: Conduct experiments, evaluate models, and optimize for performance, accuracy, and cost-efficiency.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest AI research and propose innovative applications relevant to Finom’s mission.
• Automation: Implement AI-based process automation to improve operational efficiency.

Who You Are

• Seasoned Python professional with a passion for AI/ML. You have extensive experience with frameworks like LangChain, PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Deployment expert who has a proven track record of successfully deploying ML models in production environments.
• Strong software engineer with a solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and best practices.
• Cloud-savvy individual comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Innovator with experience in areas like NLP, document processing, and/or financial data analysis.
• Skilled problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to tackle complex challenges.
• Effective communicator who is fluent in English (B2+ level).

Nice-to-Have

• Knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Flink, Spark).
• Previous work in fintech or financial services.
• Contribution to open-source AI/ML projects.

Working format:

Cyprus: Relocation package is provided.

Spain: We are only able to hire candidates who possess a DNI (for Spanish nationals) or a NIE linked to a valid working permit in Spain (for foreign nationals). Relocation support is not provided.

Poland: Employment will be under 'Umowa o Pracę' (UoP). Relocation support is not provided.
