Fiery Vision: Enable the printer to produce what the designer imagined. As a member of the Fiery Core team, you will work on the core software platform for Fiery DFEs. A Fiery DFE is a high-performance appliance designed to drive print engines and provide industry-leading performance, accurate, consistent color, and unmatched usability and integration that enable the quality and efficiency necessary for a wide range of print environments. The team works with multiple technologies on the platform to realize an integrated solution for the DFE.

In This Role You Will

• Design the code, Unit test, Debug, Code Review, implement and document complex software with minimal supervision.
• Have opportunity to learn and implement both existing and new technologies, especially C/ C++, on Windows, Linux, and MAC OSX platforms.
• Be responsible for driving and leading projects in collaboration with internal and sometimes external customers.
• Improve the scalability and reliability of the platform by optimize algorithms, identifying and removing performance bottlenecks.
• Be lead engineer for key technical projects and program often interacting with remote personnel.
• Interact with various stakeholders to define and develop workflow solutions.
• Participate in meetings and perform software demonstrations for stakeholders.

You Have

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering
• At least 8 years of experience with C++ application development experience on Windows/Mac
• Solid background and experience in system-level development in Windows and Linux
• Good understanding of software debugging techniques.
• Experience with high-performance server-side multi-threaded programming.
• Knowledge of distributed and scalable architectures.
• Motivated to research and evaluate new technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and simple manner.

Nice To Have

• Print industry domain knowledge (especially a JDF and a technical understanding of PDF)
• Experience working in Agile SCRUM environment

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $140,000 – $150,000 USD. Fiery considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
