Ferrum is seeking a strategic, execution-oriented Communications & Field Marketing Manager to elevate Ferrum’s voice across healthcare media, industry events, analysts, and enterprise buyers. This hybrid role combines public relations, field marketing, and executive visibility to position Ferrum Health as a thought leader in the future of clinical AI.

Role Overview

You’ll lead Ferrum’s communications strategy—driving media relations, thought leadership, analyst engagement, and award/speaker visibility—while also managing field marketing programs to support sales and brand awareness across key accounts. Ideal candidates possess experience in the healthcare industry and have a strong network of media contacts, analysts, and event connections

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications & PR

  • Own Ferrum’s external communications strategy across media, newsletters, blog posts, and customer storytelling.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and contributors in the healthcare, AI, and health tech sectors.
  • Drive earned media efforts—pitching stories, managing interviews, and securing coverage.
  • Lead award submissions and conference speaker proposals; track deadlines and manage application pipelines.
  • Ensure consistent brand tone and messaging across all public-facing channels.

Analyst Relations

  • Manage Ferrum’s relationships with healthcare and AI industry analysts.
  • Coordinate briefings, responses to inquiries, and strategic updates with key analysts.
  • Track analyst coverage, reports, and competitive landscape insights to inform GTM strategy.

Field Marketing & Event Execution

  • Plan and execute Ferrum’s presence at industry conferences, executive roundtables, and regional events.
  • Support sales with account-based marketing programs and localized outreach materials.
  • Track and report on event ROI, pipeline contribution, and lead quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize event visibility through pre/post-show communications and media engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in PR, communications, or field marketing—preferably in healthcare, health tech, or B2B SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success managing media and analyst relationships in healthcare or adjacent verticals.
  • Experience owning speaker bureaus, award submissions, and external visibility programs.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (HubSpot, Marketo), and event tech platforms.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with high autonomy.

Bonus if you have

  • A background in journalism, strategic storytelling, or executive communications.
  • Experience working with or selling to U.S. health systems, radiology groups, or digital health buyers.
  • A network of contacts at healthcare media outlets, analyst firms, and conference organizations.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $80,000 – $120,000/year (based on experience and location)
  • Bonus + Equity: Performance-based bonus and equity
