A successful Marketing Operations Manager will be the core driver of our Growth Teams by combining the optimization of internal workflows with agentic and AI first efficiency, leading our Growth Teams that manage paid media channels and overseeing the reporting infrastructure for campaign(s) performance. This role also carries the critical responsibility of managing and mentoring a team, ensuring continuous professional development and upskilling across all levels (junior, senior, and specialist leaders).
This role is broken into three key areas across all Growth Teams
- Paid Media Strategy & Platform Management (Acquisition Focus)
- Performance Measurement & Data Integrity (Analytics Focus)
- Team Development & Leadership (People Focus)
Paid Media Strategy & Platform Management (Acquisition Focus)
- Oversee all paid media marketing initiatives and budget allocation across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, programmatic DSPs) to achieve targets and KPIs
- Manage and lead Growth Teams across all ad platforms as they configure, setup tracking, and pixel implementation to ensure accurate conversion reporting and reliable data transfer to the CRM.
- Develop and execute the high performing paid media strategy, including audience targeting, campaign structure, creative testing, and bidding strategies to maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Collaborate closely with Growth teams to ensure all ad optimization and growth opportunities are identified and acted on with actionable data
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing and experimentation on landing pages, ad formats, and messaging to continually improve campaign efficiency and lower customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- Partner internally with our Creative Teams and Strategy Director to ensure all ad copy and creative assets are platform-optimized, adhering to best practices and performance data insights.
2. Performance Measurement & Data Integrity (Analytics Focus)
- Own the integrity, standardization, and cleanliness of marketing data within the CRM, proactively identifying and resolving data quality issues.
- Establish Marketing KPI and metrics reporting by connecting marketing spend, campaign performance, and revenue generation to inform budget allocation decisions.
3. Team Development & Leadership (People Focus)
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback to direct reports, including leaders, senior analysts, and junior team members.
- Design and execute upskilling programs focused on advanced MarTech features, data analysis techniques, process optimization, and emerging technologies.
- Lead the professional development planning for the team, identifying critical skills gaps and sourcing appropriate training or project assignments to build expertise.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within and across the Growth Teams
Experience Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a dedicated Marketing Operations, Marketing Technologist, or similar role, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity.
- Expert-level administration experience with a major Marketing Automation Platform (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics).
- Demonstrated success in managing the full lead lifecycle and implementing advanced lead scoring and routing logic.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate raw data into actionable business insights and clear visualizations.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop team members at various stages of their careers, driving their technical and professional growth.
- Excellent project management, documentation, and cross-functional communication skills.
