Senior Software Engineer | Generative AI | $190k

Feldspar & Flint LLC is a NYC metro-based Talent Consulting firm that specializes in operational strategy across core business functions.

We’re seeking a highly experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and full stack development to join our remote-first team. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives at the intersection of cutting-edge AI innovation and scalable software architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop full stack solutions integrating AI/GenAI capabilities.
• Lead engineering efforts across front-end and back-end systems using modern frameworks and languages.
• Design intuitive user interfaces with a focus on performance and accessibility.
• Implement and optimize AI models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and LangChain.
• Work with vector databases and knowledge graphs to support intelligent data retrieval and semantic search.
• Collaborate in Agile teams, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Build and deploy scalable cloud-native applications, preferably on AWS, using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Ensure robust governance, security, and compliance across all software components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience and certifications.
• 8+ years of experience in full stack development and AI integration.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, R, and modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular).
• Deep understanding of architectural patterns, microservices, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies, prompt engineering, and agentic AI systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to connect technical solutions to business outcomes.
• Experience with enterprise platforms, low-code tools, and secure software design.
• Financial services experience is a plus.
