As we aim to enhance our user journey by integrating more of the booking experience within our platform, we seek a highly skilled and business-oriented Technical Product Owner to lead this transformation. About You

You’ll spend most of your time in the first months building the base of our new platform, building new APIs, connecting with our providers APIs, processing millions of profiles and travel reservations, and exposing everything in a simple way to our Front End team.

We’ll spend time helping you to understand our business and archetypical customer in detail. Our engineers don’t just follow instructions—they have their own vision of the product and are always looking to find ways to do things better.

Qualifications

• You should have extensive experience 4+ years experience developing complex web applications with Ruby on Rails.
• We work with lots of external APIs, so you need to be a quick learner and be able to quickly make your way with unfamiliar documentation.
• Even if we are building a brand new platform every transformation may require integrations with old systems. You are not scared of dealing with some outdated systems (SOAP APIs, SAML, SFTP exchanges, etc.).
• You need to practice modern software development techniques such as unit testing, continuous integration & distributed version control.
• Good communication level in English (writing and speaking).
• You like having fun and don't take yourself too seriously.
• We believe that working together as a team is the most important thing for success.
• You have samples of past work, code, and projects that we can take a look at.
• We will require some small code evaluation to assess your level.
• You like to get your hands on the systems, using Docker, Kubernetes and a Cloud Provider (We like Google Cloud).
• You have experience working with Graphql API.
• We also have an React, React Native, and QA Automation team, so having some experience and willingness to work with other teams occasionally is a plus!
• Having knowledge building Design System and working with SDUI.
• You are able to communicate or you would like to learn Spanish.
