Hello!
Factorial is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to help us build the next generation of internal IT tools for thousands of businesses worldwide.
You’ll join the newly formed IT Management domain, where we’re creating a platform to manage onboarding, permissions, support, and equipment — so new employees are productive from day one. If you’re excited about shaping a new product area, owning features end-to-end, and working in a people-first company with a strong engineering culture, this role is for you.
About the IT Management Domain
We believe great people deserve great tools. Our mission is to ensure that employees are fully equipped and connected as soon as they join their company — with minimal overhead for IT or HR teams.
We're starting from scratch, so you'd have a great impact from day one! That includes:
Inventory management for company devices and equipment
Support ticketing and internal tooling
Integration with MDM, IdPs, SSO, and permission systems
A seamless, integrated onboarding experience for new employees
As part of a cross-functional product team, you’ll work on backend and frontend features, contribute to architecture, and collaborate with design, product, and fellow engineers.
What You’ll Do
Build and own fullstack features in Ruby on Rails + React/TypeScript
Collaborate with PMs and designers on discovery and scope definition
Participate in code reviews and mentoring rituals
Shape the product vision and contribute to quarterly planning
Join customer calls to understand pain points and validate ideas
Help grow and support a collaborative, async-first team culture
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
Are a Full Stack Developer
Have some experience with Ruby on Rails and comfortable with React, TypeScript or JavaScript
Love building scalable, maintainable systems that solve real problems
Are product-oriented: you think in outcomes, not just features
Enjoy working with autonomy, taking ownership, and mentoring others
Can communicate clearly and comfortably in English
What We Offer
€55,000 base salary + €5,500 annual bonus (paid quarterly)
Public Career Path with salary bands and leveling rubrics
Private health insurance (Alan), Gympass, Payflow, Cobee, and language classes
Personal development budget and continuous learning support
Pet-friendly office, daily breakfast, organic fruit, Apetit/Nora discounts
