Role Overview

Facteus is seeking a seasoned product marketer who can leverage their expertise in the marketing data and analytics space to make an immediate impact. A successful candidate will have relevant experience in advertising technology, shopper analytics or consumer insights, where they have successfully developed and executed go-to-market strategies and tactics.

They will be adept at defining and supporting go-to-market strategies for specific products, focusing on messaging, positioning, and go-to-market (GTM) motions; coupled with a strong eye for leading the development of compelling technical and thought leadership content. This individual will articulate the unique value of Facteus' offerings, ensuring compelling messaging for current and potential customers.

The role requires a blend of creative and analytical thinking. This individual will help identify target markets, lead new product launches, and support the development of impactful marketing campaigns to drive demand. At the intersection of product development and market strategy, the Sr. Manager/Director of Product Marketing will champion the product vision and represent the customer's voice.

Key Responsibilities

Sr. Manager/Director of Product Marketing will have the following responsibilities:

Content Strategy and Thought Leadership: Create, refine and execute the content strategy for Facteus – using a combination of AI tools and Facteus’ unique consumer transaction data and insights to continually produce, refine and publish content that draws top-of-funnel visitors to Facteus.

Product Positioning and Messaging: Develop clear and compelling product positioning and messaging that differentiates Facteus and resonates with the target audience. Craft narratives that communicate product value and drive adoption. Translate technical details into understandable narratives for various stakeholders. Define core product positioning based on customer needs, product value, and market trends. Assist in creating positioning for new products and their value propositions.

Sales Enablement and Collateral: Collaborate with sales and marketing to develop sales enablement materials like pitch decks, case studies, thought leadership pieces and product demos. Develop and deliver product presentations, sales tools, and marketing collateral. Provide training and support to sales teams. Develop and maintain sales and customer-facing collateral, including one-pagers and product overviews. Define and lead the creation of high-quality marketing materials to support revenue growth and thought leadership.

Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution: Align with leadership team to create and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and the lifecycle of existing products. Plan and execute product launches, coordinating with internal teams and partners. Support go-to-market initiatives for new product launches, working with product management, marketing, and sales. Drive the overall go-to-market strategy for new product features.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Work: Collaborate with product management and engineering on product features, roadmaps, and release plans. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects. Partner with sales to develop training and content on product differentiation. Serve as a central point of contact across products and buyers, communicating value to internal teams.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should have:

Education and Experience: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field. 5-7 years of product marketing, go-to-market or similar experience, preferably in advertising technology, shopper analytics or consumer insights data businesses. Experience leading product launches and marketing campaigns. A track record of successfully launching and marketing data products.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of content strategy, market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for compelling messaging and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
  • A proactive, go-to-market mindset focused on business growth.
  • Deep understanding of market trends and product lifecycles.
  • Grasp of strategic product marketing campaign development.
  • Empathy for customers and stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and passion for innovation.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical thinking; ability to understand data relationships.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Proven project management skills.

Technical Skills (Beneficial):

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar.
  • Comfort with collaboration and CRM tools like Slack, Gong, Hubspot and Salesforce.

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus points for having the following:

  • Experience in alternative data products for investors.
  • Familiarity with Facteus' target industries (Consumer, Adtech, Retail, Marketing).
  • Foundational knowledge of AI and machine learning in marketing technology.
  • An MBA or relevant advanced degree.
