Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Magento Developer to join our dynamic development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce solutions using Magento platform. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with experience in various programming languages and software development tools. The ideal applicant will have a passion for creating seamless user experiences and scalable e-commerce applications, contributing to the growth and success of our online retail presence.

Duties

• Develop, customise, and optimise Magento-based e-commerce websites to meet client specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and third-party services for enhanced functionality.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using languages such as JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
• Manage version control systems including GitHub and SVN to ensure code integrity and collaboration.
• Perform front-end development tasks using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks to improve user interface and experience.
• Conduct testing and debugging of applications across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility.
• Maintain existing applications by troubleshooting issues, implementing updates, and optimising performance.
• Utilise cloud services such as AWS or Azure for deployment, hosting, or scaling solutions.
• Document technical specifications and system architecture for ongoing maintenance and future enhancements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Magento development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like Vue.js or React (nice-to-have).
• Solid understanding of back-end programming languages such as PHP (Magento’s primary language), Java, C#, or Ruby on Rails is advantageous.
• Experience working with databases like MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with AWS or Azure cloud platforms is desirable.
• Knowledge of APIs (RESTful services), application development, and software integration techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub, Git, SVN.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• A recognised qualification in Computer Science or related field is preferred but not essential if equivalent experience is demonstrated. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $250,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
