Google Ads Specialist – Performance Marketing & AI Search (GEO)

ABOUT THE ROLE

F5 Global Talent is hiring a hands-on Google Ads Specialist to own paid search, conversion tracking, and AI search visibility for F5.

You’ll build and manage Google Ads Search campaigns, set up and verify GA4 and Google Tag Manager tracking, diagnose underperforming accounts, and improve how F5 content appears and gets cited in AI answer engines through Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).

This is an internal F5 role, not a client account. The work is highly outcome-driven, with a goal of building toward approximately 10 qualified booked calls per week.

We also expect AI to be part of your normal workflow. You should already be using AI tools practically for real marketing work and understand both where they help and where they fall short.

This is a full-time, remote role working U.S. business hours.

IMPORTANT: You must have 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads Search experience, personal experience setting up GA4 and Google Tag Manager conversion tracking, and current practical experience with AI search visibility / GEO.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Build and manage Google Ads Search campaigns with real budgets

• Work toward approximately 10 qualified booked calls per week

• Diagnose wasted spend, weak search intent, keyword issues, bids, and budgets

• Set up and verify conversion tracking in GA4 and Google Tag Manager

• Improve campaign performance based on real account data

• Own AI search visibility / GEO efforts, including structured data, citations, entity signals, and AI-friendly content

• Use AI tools for research, analysis, content, testing, and execution where appropriate

• Report weekly on what changed, why, and what impact it had

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads Search campaign management

• Experience personally building and managing accounts with real advertising budgets

• Strong ability to diagnose underperforming Google Ads accounts

• Hands-on GA4 and Google Tag Manager conversion-tracking experience

• Demonstrated current experience with Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) / AI search visibility

• Practical week-to-week use of AI tools in your professional work

• Ability to explain where AI improves your work — and where it does not

• Comfort being accountable to measurable lead-generation results

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Clear written English and ability to explain performance simply

• Availability to work full-time U.S. business hours
