Backend engineer

Are you a backend developer with a passion for infrastructure, who enjoys building scalable systems, solving complex problems, and keeping platforms secure and observable? At F2F.com, we are looking for a hands-on and versatile engineer who thrives at the intersection of backend development and cloud infrastructure.

About the role:‍

Most of your time will be spent building new features in Django, but you’ll also help shape the infrastructure that powers everything from Kubernetes deployments to AWS integrations. You’ll collaborate with other developers, product owners, and stakeholders in an open environment where great ideas don’t wait weeks for approval.

One day you might be designing a new API, the next you’re optimizing high-traffic services or making deployments smoother with Terraform and Ansible.

What You Bring

• 1 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• You are fluent in Python and Django.
• You have built and maintained REST APIs.
• You are comfortable with AWS services like EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, and

Aurora.

• Linux is second nature to you.
• You have used tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or OpenSearch to keep systems

running.

• You know your way around Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Kubernetes or PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Above all, you care about building things that last and learning along the way.
