About the Role:

The CTO will lead eyeo’s technology strategy and execution, driving innovation in image sensor design and photonic integration. This role requires a visionary leader with deep technical expertise and the ability to scale cutting-edge imaging solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in image sensors, photonics and/or foundry processes combined with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to deliver world-class imaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Leadership: Define and execute the technology roadmap aligned with eyeo’s strategic goals.
• Technology Development: Lead research in image sensor processes, color science, and photonics.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure technical feasibility and market readiness.
• External Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with technology and academic partners.
• IP Strategy: Drive intellectual property development and protection for core technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in image sensor processes and design, including CMOS architecture and fabrication workflows.
• Strong background in color science, ISP development, and color calibration techniques.
• Expertise in photonics, nano-optical structures, and light manipulation technologies.
• Familiarity with sensor packaging, stacking, and semiconductor process integration.
• Demonstrated leadership in scaling technology teams and managing complex projects.
