EY GDS Business Communications Leader (Associate Director)

The opportunity

EY Global Delivery Services (EY GDS) is seeking an experienced Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) leader to join the Growth Marketing Hub. This role serves as the strategic BMC advisor to one of EY GDS businesses, translating business priorities into integrated marketing, communications and engagement strategies that drive growth, strengthen stakeholder engagement and elevate the visibility of EY GDS capabilities across EY.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, shaping business narratives, executive communications and client-facing marketing strategies while orchestrating delivery across BMC hubs and Centers of Excellence (COEs).

Key Responsibilities

Strategic BMC account management

• Serves as the primary BMC advisor to one of EY GDS businesses’ leadership teams.
• Translates growth priorities and business objectives into integrated marketing and communications strategies.
• Owns and steward business narratives, ensuring alignment with EY enterprise messaging.
• Acts as the central coordination point between business leadership and BMC internal, external and locations hubs and COE to plan and deliver business growth, employee communications and external branding strategies.

Growth marketing and business engagement

• Defines and drive client-facing marketing strategies that strengthen awareness and adoption of EY GDS capabilities and solutions across EY organization.
• Partners with BMC teams to activate campaigns, client stories, case studies and strategic messaging.
• Drives visibility of EY GDS strategic initiatives, flagship solutions and strategic themes across EY audiences.
• Provides strategic oversight of key business events and stakeholder engagement initiatives.

Executive communications and leadership visibility

• Defines executive communications strategies and messaging frameworks.
• Develops leadership narratives and visibility programs that support business priorities and growth objectives.
• Ensures alignment of business messaging with EY's global growth agenda.

Governance and operational excellence

• Ensures adherence to EY standards, processes and policies.
• Manages budgets, vendors and resources where applicable.
• Monitors performance, reporting and effectiveness of BMC initiatives.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 14+ years of experience in business marketing and communications in matrixed corporate organizations, working with executive-level corporate business leaders.
• Master's degree in Marketing.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating commercial mindset and ability to translate complex business priorities into impactful data-driven marketing and communications strategies.
• Excellent executive communications, storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Deep understanding internal and external marketing channels mix, martech and marketing analytics.
• Experience in professional services, consulting or technology organizations.
• Solid project management, prioritization, people management and governance capabilities.
