Frontend Developer

Join a mission-driven team developing a platform that helps biopharmaceutical companies create better drugs, including mRNA vaccines and personalized medicine. You will develop and maintain a web application using Vue 3 and TypeScript, focusing on clean, maintainable, and well-structured code. This role emphasizes solid software engineering principles to ensure a robust and scalable codebase using a component-based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features while collaborating with the product owner, UI/UX team, and fellow developers.
• Partner with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs.
• Build reusable, well-typed Vue components following established patterns.
• Write meaningful tests to ensure code reliability and maintain consistency across the codebase.
• Develop and enhance data visualisation features using charting libraries to help scientists analyze complex datasets.

Qualifications

• A strong university degree (minimum BSc or equivalent) in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Vue.js (Composition API) and TypeScript with strong typing skills.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID, separation of concerns, and clean code.
• Experience building component-based architectures with clear separation between UI, business logic, and data layers.
• Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and modern frontend tooling like Vite and ESLint.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data visualization libraries such as Plotly or D3.
• Familiarity with TanStack Query or similar data-fetching patterns.
• Experience with UI component libraries like PrimeVue or Vuetify.
• A background or interest in scientific and technical domains
