Principal Product Designer

Our client is seeking a Principal Product Designer to join their team. As a Principal Product Designer, you will be part of the Digital Experience Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, innovative thinking, and a passion for creating user-centered designs that drive engagement and conversion, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Principal Product Designer

Location: REMOTE (Preference for candidates in Bellevue, Washington or Denver, Colorado for potential FTE conversion)

Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension/conversion

What's the Job?

• Define and drive the UX strategy and design roadmap for key digital commerce experiences.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leaders to align design direction with customer and business goals.
• Lead end-to-end design for complex, multi-platform experiences, including creating high-fidelity prototypes, journey maps, and interaction models.
• Mentor and guide designers, fostering collaboration across teams to deliver cohesive, high-performing experiences.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, simplification, and scalable design systems that enhance usability and conversion.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in user experience, digital strategy, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in UX and UI design for web and mobile products.
• Strong command of design systems, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Proficiency in Figma and collaborative design tools.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead complex projects.
