ROLE SUMMARY
EXPANDYA is looking for a dynamic and strategic Marketing Director to lead our multi-brand marketing efforts across Latin and North America. This role blends creativity, leadership, and technical knowledge with a strong hands-on approach to content and campaign execution.
This opportunity is for professionals based in Colombia who are fully bilingual (English & Spanish), have the ability to travel frequently, and hold or can obtain a U.S. visa.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for 2–3 brands simultaneously.
- Drive content direction—oversee and actively collaborate during content creation, especially video production (concept, scripting, execution).
- Manage and promote campaigns on Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta for Business, and Google Ads.
- Coordinate the use of Odoo for CRM, marketing workflows, and reporting.
- Interpret data from analytics tools to optimize strategy and performance.
- Participate in and represent the company at conventions/events across North and Latin America to promote and sell our products and services.
- Identify and secure event opportunities, and lead pre-, during-, and post-event marketing and sales coordination.
- Collaborate closely with sales, social media, community managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and execution.
- Build and manage a high-performance marketing team, including freelancers or agency partners when needed.
- Use Jira to run agile marketing sprints and manage cross-functional projects efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3+ years of marketing leadership experience.
- Proven experience with tech-focused marketing projects.
- Deep knowledge of Odoo, Meta for Business, Google Ads, and campaign performance tools.
- Experienced in video content planning and execution—from creative direction to final production.
- Familiar with Instagram and LinkedIn content strategy and promotion.
- Excellent communication skills, especially in-person—must be highly extroverted, energetic, and collaborative.
- Able and willing to travel regularly across regions for business events.
- Must have or be eligible for a U.S. visa.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience using Jira and agile project management methodologies.
