About The Role

Shape the future of AI with HCL. As an AI Tutor - HCL, you will use your infrastructure-as-code expertise to improve AI-generated configurations and ensure they align with HCLs declarative syntax, modularity, and provisioning standards.

Responsibilities

• Review HCL code for syntax correctness, reusability, and idiomatic use of blocks and expressions.
• Solve infrastructure automation and provisioning tasks using HCL and explain your process.
• Identify and correct flaws in AI output or unclear configuration logic.
• Summarize your approach and decision-making clearly and concisely.

About You

• Fluent in English with strong writing and communication skills.
• Expertise in HCL: variable declarations, modules, conditionals, provider configuration, and state management (e.g., Terraform).
• 35 years of experience using HCL with tools like Terraform, Nomad, or Vault is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree (or pursuing one) in Computer Science, DevOps, or related field. Masters or PhD preferred.
• Deep interest in AI, infrastructure-as-code, or cloud-native architectures.

_Compensation & Employment Details

• Pay Range: $15$150 USD per hour.
• This is a freelance, hourly-position (not an internship).
• Candidate must be authorized to work in their country of residence; no sponsorship for this 1099 contract role.
