This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and scalability of an innovative investor identity platform by building and maintaining production-ready systems. As a senior back-end engineer, you will design and implement robust solutions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure reliable integrations that directly impact users and business operations. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services using Elixir Phoenix and other modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business and legal partners, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support existing products while engineering new features to enhance customer experiences and business value.
- Build innovative approaches for collecting and analyzing key business metrics across digital platforms.
- Contribute to the technical strategy, system design, and best practices documentation.
- Ensure reliable integrations with front-end applications (React/GraphQL) and maintain robust APIs.
- Provide feedback, mentorship, and technical insight within a collaborative engineering culture.
- Strong experience developing full-stack or back-end web applications with modern frameworks.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTTP, cookies, CSP, CORS) and relational database fundamentals.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language with a proven record of professional success.
- Comfort working with Linux, command line tools, and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience presenting technical concepts.
- Enthusiasm for learning new languages and frameworks (no prior Elixir experience required).
- Preferred experience with: Go, Python, Ruby, Elixir, Rust, or Clojure; AWS environments; security/pen testing; React or Angular development; querying large datasets with BigQuery.
