Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Frontend to lead the design and implementation of our customer’s user-facing applications, component libraries, and real-time data visualization interfaces.

This role is ideal for an engineer who can independently drive large-scale frontend initiatives from requirements gathering to architecture to delivery, while collaborating with cross-functional teams (backend, product, design, and DevOps). You will play a critical part in shaping the next generation of our customer’s user interfaces and customer experience.

1. What You Will Do (Essential Responsibilities)

Frontend Engineering & UI Architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain frontend applications and component libraries - primarily in React and TypeScript.
• Architect scalable, performant UI systems capable of rendering real-time operational data from field devices with minimal latency.
• Lead end-to-end design for complex, revenue-critical features, ensuring technical clarity, documented requirements, and well-defined success metrics.
• Evaluate UI/UX bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements in performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

Real-Time Data Visualization & State Management

• Design, implement, and maintain frontend applications and component libraries - primarily in React and TypeScript.
• Architect scalable, performant UI systems capable of rendering real-time operational data from field devices with minimal latency.
• Lead end-to-end design for complex, revenue-critical features, ensuring technical clarity, documented requirements, and well-defined success metrics.
• Evaluate UI/UX bottlenecks and propose architectural improvements in performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to define API contracts, data models, and optimize data transfer for real-time applications.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, explore design options, and break down large initiatives into executable engineering tasks.
• Coordinate with backend teams to align on API contracts, data models, and release timelines.
• Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to other frontend engineers.

Quality, Reliability & Best Practices

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, explore design options, and break down large initiatives into executable engineering tasks.
• Coordinate with backend teams to align on API contracts, data models, and release timelines.
• Provide architectural guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to other front-end engineers.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong emphasis on frontend development.
• Expert-level React and TypeScript experience in production environments.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture, component design patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
• Hands-on expertise with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or similar).
• Experience building real-time data visualization interfaces using libraries such as D3.js, Recharts, or similar.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous data fetching patterns.
• Ability to independently gather requirements, write technical specs, and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
