We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Node.js (Express 22) to join a distributed team working on a highly scalable platform. The ideal candidate has strong system design and backend API development skills. Familiarity with Angular on the frontend is a plus, but not required.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
Work with Node.js/Express in production-grade systems
Implement business logic, security mechanisms, and data models
Collaborate with DevOps on containerization and deployments in Kubernetes
Write maintainable, tested, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making

What You Bring

5+ years of backend development experience
Proficiency in either Node.js (Express)
Strong understanding of MongoDB, NoSQL data modeling, and performance tuning
Experience working with containerized applications and Kubernetes
Familiarity with distributed systems and multi-region cloud deployments
The need to work with VDI on the project

Nice to have

Familiarity with Angular or frontend integration principles
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
