We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Node.js (Express 22) to join a distributed team working on a highly scalable platform. The ideal candidate has strong system design and backend API development skills. Familiarity with Angular on the frontend is a plus, but not required.

What You’ll Do
- Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs
- Work with Node.js/Express in production-grade systems
- Implement business logic, security mechanisms, and data models
- Collaborate with DevOps on containerization and deployments in Kubernetes
- Write maintainable, tested, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
What You Bring
- 5+ years of backend development experience
- Proficiency in either Node.js (Express)
- Strong understanding of MongoDB, NoSQL data modeling, and performance tuning
- Experience working with containerized applications and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with distributed systems and multi-region cloud deployments
- The need to work with VDI on the project
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Angular or frontend integration principles
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
