What You’ll Do

Utilize strong knowledge of object-oriented design (OOD) principles to develop robust and scalable solutions
Design and develop interface programs and perform unit and integration testing of software business units
Administer and coordinate user interface design activities
Analyze current and evolving information system requirements
Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and calculate information to fulfill data and application requirements
Program and optimize database stored procedures, functions, tables, and views
Document code such that the function and logic are clear and maintainable
Administer and coordinate web services, FTP, and B2B data integration
Conduct technical research as necessary to develop and refine product concepts
Investigate new technologies to enhance or evolve product functionality
Stay up to date with programming advancements and technical developments
Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers as needed
Follow product architecture guidelines to deliver optimal product performance and maintainability
Fulfill other duties as required or assigned by company management

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
8+ years of experience in object-oriented software development
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET (Framework and Core), Python, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, Web Services, Web API, REST APIs, Visual Studio
Advanced MS SQL skills, including query optimization (SELECT, JOIN, subqueries, CTEs, GROUP BY, aggregate functions), performance tuning, indexing, database design, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and SQL Agent jobs
Experience with cloud technologies (Azure preferred, AWS also acceptable)
Solid understanding of security best practices, service-oriented and serverless architectures, domain-driven design
Experience with both brownfield and greenfield projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document code and create UML diagrams
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organized, and capable of managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong planning and time-management skills to ensure timely delivery of project milestones
