An exciting opportunity for a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a critical role in optimizing, automating, and supporting the infrastructure behind a high-performance SaaS platform. This role is ideal for an experienced DevOps professional who thrives in cloud-based environments, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

You will be responsible for enhancing system reliability, streamlining deployments, and improving operational efficiency in a fast-moving, high-impact engineering team. This position requires expertise in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation, with a strong focus on scalability, security, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize cloud infrastructure to support scalable, high-availability SaaS applications.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ensuring infrastructure consistency and automation.
Lead the modernization of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, improving deployment speed and reliability.
Manage containerized workflows with Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes (EKS) to enhance application performance and scalability.
Implement AWS best practices across multi-account environments, optimizing cost, security, and performance.
Serve as a Tier 3 escalation point for infrastructure-related incidents, ensuring high system uptime and reliability.
Automate security compliance and enforce IAM best practices, reducing security risks and vulnerabilities.
Monitor and optimize application performance using CloudWatch, Prometheus, New Relic, or similar tools.
Support RPM build and distribution, Puppet administration, and internal operational tooling.
Collaborate with software engineering teams to align DevOps processes with development needs and release cycles.

Required Experience

✅ 3+ years of experience managing AWS-based infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code methodologies.

✅ 3+ years of experience writing and managing Terraform scripts for cloud automation and provisioning.

✅ Strong understanding of cloud deployment patterns, AWS services (EKS, RDS, IAM, S3, Lambda, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering).

✅ Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo Workflows.

✅ Hands-on expertise with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, Helm).

✅ Ability to troubleshoot networking, security, and performance issues in cloud environments.
