Technical Recruiter – Data & Engineering Focus

As a Technical Recruiter, you’ll directly impact EVOCS’ ability to deliver high-quality technical talent across global markets for our clients. Your experience and insights will help shape a world-class recruitment function that serves the complex staffing needs of our clients, particularly across data and engineering verticals.
Job Responsibilities
End-to-End Technical Recruitment Execution
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles including Power BI Developers, Azure Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Full Stack Developers, and Technical Project Managers.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored for each role and geography (North America, EMEA, APAC).
- Screen candidates for technical proficiency, cultural fit, and communication skills through structured interviews and technical assessments.
- Manage interview pipelines, coordinate with hiring managers, and ensure smooth candidate experience from sourcing to offer closure.
- Leverage tools like LinkedIn, GitHub, other Job Boards, ATS systems, and social media to build high-quality talent pipelines.
Client Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with EVOCS’ staffing team to understand project demands and client expectations.
- Translate role requirements into targeted search strategies for specific tech stacks and seniority levels.
- Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal and external stakeholders to keep everyone aligned on hiring progress and timelines.
Side Initiatives and Internal Projects
- Engage in internal projects such as building candidate assessment rubrics, streamlining recruitment processes, and developing an internal talent database.
- Create and improve recruitment collateral including job templates, candidate briefing documents, and interview guidelines.
- Assist with Accounts Receivable team at EVOCS on invoicing
Required Qualifications – Must-Have
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) – bilingual or near-native level
- Strong understanding of project management and data engineering roles (e.g., Power BI, Azure, PMP, PySpark, Databricks, Agile delivery)
- Minimum 5 years of experience recruiting technical roles in North America
- Proven ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle autonomously
- Interest in technology and digital tools – curiosity and willingness to learn are a must
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – this is a client-facing role that involves frequent interaction via email, calls, and meetings

Professional Background
- Previous hands-on experience as a Data Analyst, Power BI Developer, Software Engineer, or Technical Project Manager prior to transitioning into recruitment.
- Track record of successfully hiring in EMEA or APAC markets.
Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP, modern data stacks, and software development frameworks.
- Ability to assess technical resumes and communicate effectively with tech professionals.
