🎯 Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will be the first marketing hire and will play a critical role in building the entire marketing ecosystem from the ground up. This includes designing and executing the marketing strategy, selecting and implementing tools, building scalable processes, and delivering campaigns that generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement the end-to-end marketing strategy aligned with business objectives for generating new business leads for the organization based on existing service offerings (Initial campaigns and initiatives to be determined by EVOCS Leadership as needed)
- Define the ideal customer profile, target segments, and go-to-market messaging and initial campaign strategy for lead generation
- Set KPIs for marketing performance and implement analytics/reporting practices.
Execution & Tools
- Identify, implement, and manage marketing tools (e.g., CRM, email automation, SEO tools) based on current business offering and services (Initial review of existing tech stack, and then create a proposal for the estimated annual cost of marketing tools)
- Plan, Build, and run lead generation campaigns (content, email, paid ads, events, etc.).
- Manage and optimize the company’s website and social media presence. (Need to confirm resourcing and process for making website updates)
- Develop content assets including case studies, blog posts, newsletters, and whitepapers in tandem with other EVOCS colleagues and Sales Team
Process Building
- Create and document marketing SOPs, workflows, and campaign templates from the ground-up. None of these assets exist today
- Build a structured content calendar and campaign roadmap to communicate key marketing milestones and progress throughout the business
- Establish marketing-sales handoff processes to ensure lead quality and conversion tracking.
- Interface with company leadership to create new marketing initiatives and efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with sales, operations, and technical teams to align messaging and market insights.
- Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, or agencies as needed.
🧠Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in IT consulting or SaaS environments.
- Proven track record of building marketing systems, strategy, campaigns, and marketing-focused teams from scratch.
- Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, SEMrush, Google Analytics).
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to test, analyze, and optimize process for continuous improvement
🚀 Bonus Points
- Experience marketing to mid-sized enterprises or tech decision-makers.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, BI tools, or automation platforms.
- Design or branding skills (e.g., Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite).
- Strong content creation skills and ability to translate technical concepts into value-driven messaging.
