Introduction
We are seeking a Data Science Product Manager to lead the strategic use of data science and advanced analytics directly within our Product team. As our primary product-focused data expert, you’ll independently leverage data-driven insights, predictive analytics, and strategic thinking to guide product strategy, enhance customer value, and drive innovation. You will work collaboratively with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and Analysts to shape data-informed product decisions and solutions.
This role combines strategic product leadership, hands-on data analysis, and the practical application of data science techniques to directly inform product roadmaps, development, and user experiences.
Main Responsibilities
Independently identify, collect, and analyze product and user data to generate insights that inform product strategies, roadmaps, and priority decisions.
Define, track, and communicate key product metrics and KPIs, ensuring product decisions are consistently informed by meaningful data.
Develop and apply advanced analytical techniques (e.g., predictive modeling, segmentation, regression, forecasting) to enhance products, discover user opportunities, and improve customer experiences.
Own and continuously evolve the product analytics roadmap, proactively identifying new data sources, integrations, and analytics tools to advance product capabilities.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Managers, UX, Engineering, Systems, Marketing, RevOps) to translate complex data into actionable, strategic product initiatives.
Clearly communicate analytical findings and strategic recommendations to leadership, product teams, and non-technical stakeholders through effective data visualization and presentations.
Provide thought leadership within the Product organization, advocating best practices in data-informed decision-making and product development.
Work with product and development teams to define data collection strategies, ensuring the right data is captured efficiently and effectively to support relevant business insights.
Work collaboratively to harmonize, document, and maintain standardized product data models, ensuring consistent and reliable data usage across product teams.
