Cloud Developer

Description

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in cloud environments (AWS and Azure) with a focus on automation, infrastructure as code, and environment setup using Ansible.

You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure.
Implement automation and configuration management using Ansible (and similar tools).
Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for deploying applications to cloud environments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based systems for performance and security.
Collaborate with developers and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and reliability.

Skills & Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure services.
Expertise in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
Proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform or ARM templates a plus).
Knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Message from Bob : Karthick, the client, Zurich, uses both AWS and Azure. If the candidates have experience in one I'm hoping they can pick up the other quickly. Services to cover - compute, networking, vpc, firewalls, Terraform, and see if they know CLI. Anyone experienced would use CLI rather than the UI.
