Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Quant Developer with strong expertise in Python development, quantitative analytics, data science, machine learning, and statistical modeling. The ideal candidate should possess deep hands-on coding experience and a strong mathematical and analytical mindset, with proven experience building scalable data-driven solutions and predictive models.

This role requires a combination of engineering excellence and quantitative problem-solving capability. The candidate will work on large financial and market datasets, develop advanced analytical models, implement time-series forecasting solutions, and build robust ETL pipelines while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and quantitative teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based analytical applications and data solutions.
• Build robust, production-grade ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and processing.
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software engineering best practices.
• Develop quantitative models and analytical frameworks for solving complex business problems.
• Perform statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, feature engineering, and predictive modeling.
• Build and deploy machine learning models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Develop and implement time-series forecasting and regression models for financial and business datasets.
• Work extensively with NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, and other Python-based analytical libraries.
• Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to derive actionable insights.
• Optimize code performance and ensure scalability and maintainability of solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Mentor team members and contribute to technical excellence within the team.

Mandatory Skills

Python & Software Engineering

• 7+ years of work experience with strong hands-on Python programming experience.
• Expert knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong coding, debugging, and optimization skills.
• Experience with API integration and scalable application development.
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems.

Data Engineering

• Strong experience building ETL pipelines and data processing workflows.
• Experience handling large-scale datasets.
• Strong data wrangling and transformation skills using Pandas and NumPy.

Quantitative & Statistical Modeling

• Strong understanding of Quantitative Analytics and Mathematical Modeling.
• Experience in Statistical Modeling and Predictive Analytics.
• Expertise in Regression Techniques and Model Development.
• Strong understanding of Probability, Statistics, and Data Analysis.

Time Series & Machine Learning

• Hands-on experience with Time Series Analysis and Forecasting Techniques.
• Experience with ARIMA, SARIMA, Exponential Smoothing, Prophet, or similar forecasting approaches.
• Strong knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience in feature engineering, model validation, and performance optimization.

Data Science

• Strong experience in Data Science and analytical problem-solving.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Experience working on predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, or related quantitative fields.
• Exposure to Financial Markets, Capital Markets, Fixed Income, Risk, or Investment Analytics.
• Experience with cloud platforms and large-scale analytical environments.
• Experience working with financial market data and quantitative research teams.
